MAGIC

All of us amazed by the magic tricks. The movie that I've watched is "The Prestige (2006)". The leading actors are Hugh Backman as Robert Angier and Christian Bale as Alfred Borden. The genres of the story are thriller and drama. The summary of the story, near the end of the film as Angier lying shot one the floor, he tells Borden that entering the machine on stage each night was hard, not knowing if he would appear on the balcony or drop in the tank. Previously, it is shown that the cloned items always appear elsewhere, while the original item remains in the machine. Tesla's experiments with the top hat and the cat along with Angier's own experiments with himself, all end with the cloned item appearing outside the machine. The original Angier would have dropped into the tank on the first attempt. Thereafter, a clone would have carried on being Angier.

In the beginning of the story, it is a little it boring because I don't understand. And I don't get it because it has different facings when it comes to explaining where their friendship started. But in the middle or in the climax, you will know why the title of this movie is "The Prestige". Did you know hat the word "prestige" originally meant the trick, from the Latin " praestigium" meaning illusion. You'll get it when they started the magic trick called "Transportation". It starts from Borden, where he has a magic show entitled "The Transported Man", I am so amazed when I watched his show. And when Angier came and saw Angier's new magic, he called Tesla, which is his mentor, to find his clone. But in the end he failed his trick in magic show.

The movie is so amazing for me because it is not just about magic, but it is about illusions. The story is like wolverine vs. batman, they're just seeking vengeance. An it is like they're best of friends before but when Angier's wife died because she stocked in the tank with full of water, while the magic show is presenting, they started as enemies. The leading actors and actresses in the movie are find good, and their acting skills touches the emotions of the viewers.

All in all, it is like in the real world, we have that kind of friends that are humble when you were with them, but otherwise, they just hate you like they want to bully you always. But in my life, I haven't experienced it. I learned about friendship is we have three kinds of friends: Friend for a reason, friends for a season, and friend for a lifetime. Best friends are people who make your problems their problems, just so you don't have to go through them alone. Love your best friends even if there are times that we get jealous because they don't have time for us, we always have time, we just need to be patient and understand their situation. 

Why did I choose Accountancy as my course?

                         
                           

                           An Accountant is someone who knows the cost of everything and the value of nothing. When I was a child, my dream is to be a Chef someday but when I grow older, I choose to be an Accountant. I choose to be an Accountant because no one in my family has a dream to be an Accountant. Life is like accounting, even it is hard to be balanced, we still try to make it balance no matter what.

                            For this reason, I know that it is hard to be an Accountant, because they said that, if we do not know how to balance the problem, we do not know how to balance things. I am always praying to God for his guidance and gives me strength for not giving up. We know that nothing is impossible, that is why sometimes I do the impossible things that I cannot do it. I am inspired by my auntie, that is why I choose Accountancy, but she is not a CPA Board Passer, she is just a graduate from a course of Accountancy.

                          The result of studying Accountancy is stress, tending to give up, and losing hope, having a sleepless night just our works to be done, but as I said, nothing is impossible. If we choose this course, we must want it, because it is our future. Sometimes, I am happy about my course, because I learned how to balance things on time like, studies, ministry in my church, friends, family. 

                          All I can say is, do not give up on things you wanted, because when we started things to like it, it is hard to let go of it. Do not lose hope because, everything has a reason behind it. I am hoping and praying that someday, I will be a CPA Board Passer and will be working in big companies. Think positive because you cannot live a positive life with a negative mind. All of us want to be graduated in Accountancy, so all we need to do is focus, and have faith in God. 

Highschool vs. College

When I was a high school student before,  I asked my teachers which of the two has their happiest memories, some of them said was High school, and others was College. I am not going to choose yet because I am not done studying in College. There are so many memories when I was in High school, like when our class is dismissed, we will go out and eat at the fast food chains outside our school, or will go to our friend's crib. In my year third in high school, I was part of the volleyball team in our school. I miss to be a part of the volleyball team. Then here in college as of now, my parents would still not allow me to join the team and it is okay for me because this is for my own good. 

In high school and college, our main objective is to have a high grades, but for me, it is not about the grades that we're going to receive, it is the lessons that we learn from our teachers and parents. They both have classmates, teachers, books, reports, quizzes, homework and of course the deadly EXAMS. Both stages are we, as a student, are preparing for our future. They also have the same rule in taking the exams, which is NO CHEATING. High school has the events every school year, like, sports fest, dancing and singing contests, varsity teams, etc., the same as college. There is a lot of similarities of school that I still do not experienced it. 

However, high school attendance is mandatory, but in college attendance is strongly suggested. In high school, it is okay not to take notes, unlike college that we need to take notes because I found out that college is more challenging than high school. The books in high school, are not so thick, but in college, it is thick as the area of the whole tree. In high school, they are not aware of knowing what is required to graduate, yet in college, they are going to choose a minor an major subjects that are expected for graduation. 

Of course, all of us want to have a better life and a successful job, so all we need to do is strive hard while we are still studying. Push yourself because, no one else is going to do it for you. Sacrifice your time because time is important when we are studying. There is a saying that successful people are not gifted; they just work hard, then succeed on purpose. My advice while you are still a student, study hard and ask God for a strength in mind to focus on our studies. 

My Dream House Ever

                                 I'm gonna pick up the pieces, and build a leggo house. In my younger age, the toy that is popular to the kids is leggo that is produce by the company. This kind of toy can build anything you want, like guns, buildings with people, houses, etc.. And that time, I started to dream of having a leggo house though in reality, is impossible. A picture above is my dream house.

                                     As you imagine my dream house, my gate is automatic. When you started to step in my yard, you can see a 10 meters wide and 6 feet deep swimming pool on your left. On your right, you can also see a sports court, like basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc.. At the corner of my yard, it has trees, and a small garden. 

                                    As you enter into my house, you see a wide space with a big couch, a 35 inches television, and a paintings on the wall. And then, as you walk inside my house, you can see a kitchen that my mom has dreamed of. She wants a kitchen, with electric gas stove, an oven for her to bake if she wants.  I want a house that has 2 floors with 4 rooms on the second floor. At the basement, there is a small movie theater where I can watch my favorite movies when I am bored. I also want a small library, for my quiet time and personal time with our God. I want my room to have a bathroom and big dressing with make over room. Of course, I want my family to have their own rooms in my house because they help me to reach my goals. 

Overall, I want my house full of happiness and relaxation. I want a house that comes from my hard works, and sacrifices. I may be stressed to be a student and in the future, I am a worker or boss, but I have a dessert which is my dream house. Nothing comes easy if you know that you're sacrificing your time just to reach your goals. 

The Best Presidential Candidate for me

                                             

                              Choosing the best Philippine Presidential candidate is not easy. The candidate that we should choose is the person who is willing to sacrifice him/herself for the country. The person who is God-fearing to avoid corruption in our country, has a passion in able to attract investors to provide jobs for the Filipino citizen. And lastly, to have more effective program for our agricultural lands, because Philippines is known as the best rice producer during the times of our forefather. And for me, I choose Miriam Defensor Santiago. These are the three facts about Miriam Santiago that you should choose her to be our next President. 

               First, she is the only one who follows the Law of our country. She did not start her campaign early, not like other candidates, who started their campaign too early. It is just a simple rule of the COMELEC, and they did not obey it. How much more will they handle this country. 

              Second, she does not want corruption. If she will become our President, we will be sure that corrupt officials will be judged accordingly. Like the Pork Barrel Scam where in Jannet Lim Napoles was the head of the Scam, Miriam Santiago really interrogate her in the Senate Hearing.

              Third, she is a fiscalizer, that everyone who is a corrupt official of the government will be given specific penalty for their actions. Same penalty will be done to the other officials on any government agencies. That is how can we sure that the Philippines will be free from any corruptions or any illegal activities.

             Overall, with this attributes of Miriam Defensor Santiago, I can finally say that with her being our president, will help the country be a less corrupt country or free from any corruption. Philippines will also have peace that will attract more investors because they will see that they will be safe here in our country. So we must vote WISELY for our nation to improve more.
